Health Elements AI: From Bend Venture Conference to Acquisition by Medisolv

When Health Elements AI participated in the Bend Venture Conference (BVC) in 2024, the company was building an AI-powered platform designed to automate clinical data abstraction for healthcare quality reporting and registries. What followed was a period of rapid growth fueled by investment, local connections and support from Central Oregon’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Founded by CEO Jeff LeBrun, Health Elements AI leveraged momentum from its participation in EDCO programs, including BVC and Central Oregon PubTalk, to accelerate both fundraising and company growth. The company was named the 2024 Growth Stage winner at Bend Venture Conference, gaining visibility with investors, founders and regional business leaders.

That exposure helped the company secure more than $2 million in additional investment from organizations including AI2, Pack Ventures, Cook Group, eLab Ventures, and several Seattle-area angel investors.

Those investments translated directly into economic impact in Central Oregon. More than half of the company’s seven employees were based in Bend, including four full-time positions supported locally. Health Elements AI operated from Embark Coworking Community, contributing to the region’s growing technology and startup community.

In March 2025, the company returned to the stage at Central Oregon PubTalk to share updates on its growth and momentum with the local entrepreneurial community.

Beyond fundraising and visibility, EDCO also helped connect Health Elements AI into the Central Oregon startup ecosystem. Through PubTalk, BVC and ongoing networking opportunities, the company built relationships with fellow founders, investors and technology leaders throughout the region.

In April 2026, Health Elements AI was acquired by Medisolv, a national healthcare technology company serving more than 1,800 healthcare organizations nationwide. The acquisition expanded Medisolv’s AI-driven quality reporting and clinical registry capabilities while validating the innovation developed in Bend.

According to Medisolv, Health Elements AI’s technology helps healthcare organizations reduce the burden of manual chart review and improve the capture and use of clinical data for quality improvement initiatives.
