To better understand Central Oregon’s regional economy and to respond to potential company relocations, EDCO has a large database of marketing intelligence. We gather facts and figures from many different public and private organizations—at the local, regional, state and national levels—to track the economic health of our region, understand local business activity, and communicate population characteristics. In many cases, we can provide a framework for how Central Oregon compares to other regions in the West. Additionally, EDCO conducts its own in-house primary research for strategic purposes, including our annual survey of the region's top 50 employers (published in spring in the Central Oregon Profile), as well as ad hoc research to help direct or implement strategic projects.
