January 27 - UC Santa Barbara Economic Forecast for Central Oregon
Plan to attend the first annual Economic Outlook, a project supported by the local community and presented by the UC Santa Barbara Economic Forecast Project. Keynote speaker is Joel Kotkin, global economist and author of several popular books including “Tribes,” “The New Geography,” and “The City: A Global History.” Joining Kotkin from the UC Santa Barbara Forecast Project will be Dr. Bill Watkins, Executive Director, and Kirk Lesh, Real Estate Economist. The event is 8:00 – 11:30 am at the Tower Theatre in Bend.
