Financial

The region supports seventeen banks and savings & loan organizations with a total of 81 branch locations. Three institutions - Bank of the Cascades, Community First Bank and High Desert Bank - are headquartered in the area, and an additional six organizations are headquartered in Oregon. Five credit unions, one headquartered here, serve the region with nine branches. Reflecting higher than average deposit wealth, Central Oregon supports a significant number of financial planning and investment firms.
