| Central Oregon hosts many events and festivals, from world-class bike races to rodeos. In 2002, top sled dog racers from around the world began to come to the region to participate and compete in an annual eight-day dog sled race, the AttaBoy 300 Oregon International Stage Stop Race. This statewide stage format race kicks off in Bend with the first stage of racing on Mt. Bachelor and will stage through the communities of Bend, Sisters, Prineville, Sunriver and La Pine with the final stage and finish of the race on Mt. Bachelor. | |
