Prior to that he served as President and COO of Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation (www.gulfstream.com) and is credited with leading the company's turnaround in 1993, which led to a highly successful initial public offering in 1996. Under his leadership, Gulfstream developed and certified the GV aircraft, capable of non-stop flight from NY to Tokyo, and began co-producing GIV-SP and GV aircraft in a single production line. Fred also spent 25 years at General Electric Company (www.ge.com) in the Aircraft Engine Sector and in Aerospace and Defense.
The May 6th PubTalk will also feature early stage company presentations by MileageWiz and Oregon Imaging Solutions. Early stage presentations, which follow the keynote speaker, provide new or start-up businesses a venue to receive feedback on products, services, marketing strategy or other integral components of the business. Presenters share ideas, experiences and strategies for success with other businesses, angel investors, venture capital firms, and OEF members.
