Bend Venture Conference 2007 Announces Guy Kawasaki as Keynote Speaker
June 14, 2007-BEND, OR- The fourth annual Bend Venture Conference is looking forward to providing investors and business leaders a unique forum to learn about emerging investment opportunities. This year’s event will be held October 19th at downtown Bend’s Tower Theater.
Serving as the 2007 BVC keynote speaker is Guy Kawasaki, managing director of Garage Technology Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Kawasaki has a B.A. from Stanford University, an MBA from UCLA and an honorary doctorate from Babson College. He is a columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine and is ranked as one of the top 100 bloggers in the world. Kawasaki has delivered creative, motivating speeches to high-powered companies including Nike, Audi, and Hewlett-Packard.
BVC 2007 is actively looking for seed and early stage companies to present at this year’s event. BVC is also calling all interested investors and service providers to attend and to alert their associates of this potential funding opportunity. Companies from both the high-technology and low-technology business sectors seeking funding and partnerships will gain direct exposure and feedback from an expert panel of seed and early stage venture investors. Applying companies not chosen to present will still gain access to investors through a complimentary conference registration as well as a brief company profile in the conference program.
