HR 101 is coming... Fall 2008!

The Human Resources  Association  of Central Oregon (HRACO) is a member organization  of local Human Resource professionals  who are also members of the National Association, The Society for  Human Resource  Management (SHRM).
HRACO offers professionals in the Human Resources field,  opportunities for skills enhancement as well as tools  to obtain certification as  professionals in the field of HR.  We meet the third Wednesday of each month at the Phoenix Inn unless otherwise announced, and have speakers on various HR-related topics. HRACO Announces the 2007 Human Resources Professional of the Year! Nancy Lumpkin, Human Resources Manager of Clear Choice Health Plans, Inc.  in Bend has been named the 2007 Human Resources Professional of the Year by the Human Resources Association of Central Oregon (HRACO). Lumpkin was recognized for her outstanding contributions in the areas of human resources education and certification.  For several years, Lumpkin has led a successful study group for human resources professionals in Central Oregon studying for certification  by the Society of Human Resource Management. Lumpkin’s efforts  have also resulted in the location of a certification test site in Bend, starting in 2008. Lumpkin has also organized and instructed HR 101, a class for community members interested in pursuing a career in human resources, in partnership with Central Oregon Community College. In addition to her other responsibilities, Lumpkin is currently serving as the President-Elect of HRACO.
